||Haiku Restaurant, Cape Town, City Bowl
For visitors staying at the Talia holiday apartment, paying several visits to the City Bowl area of Cape Town is a must. In this dynamic central area you’ll find many places to eat, among them the Haiku restaurant.
The Cape Town branch of Haiku offers you a wonderful selection of Asian flavors, from delicious fried, boiled and steamed dim sum and sushi to robata, stir-fries and wok dishes. We can highly recommend the spinach and cream cheese and the spicy lamb dim sum. Try the Peking duck too! On crowded days, a take-away back to your holiday apartment may be a good idea.
Our holiday apartment guests have commented that this restaurant is not at its best on super-crowded days when standards tend to slide. Also be aware that Haiku is one of those Cape Town restaurants with a ‘minimum spend’ policy.
All in all, Haiku is certainly worth a visit in central Cape Town for the culinary experience that it delivers.
